Who we are
This website, mikojai.com, is operated by MIKOJAI LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company ("MIKOJAI", "we", "us"). We are responsible for the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us about privacy at hello@mikojai.com.
The short version
- This website uses no cookies, no analytics and no tracking or advertising tools.
- Fonts and images are served from our own domain, so your browser does not contact third parties such as Google when you visit.
- We only receive personal data that you choose to send us, for example by email.
- We do not sell or rent personal data, and we do not share it for targeted advertising.
Data processed when you visit
To deliver and protect the website, our hosting provider, Cloudflare, Inc., automatically processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time of the request. This data is used only to deliver the site, keep it secure and prevent abuse, and it is kept for a short period in line with Cloudflare's retention practices. For visitors in the EU, EEA or UK, the legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Data you send us
If you email us, for example with a licensing or partnership enquiry, we process the information you include, such as your name, email address, company, role and the content of your message. We use it to reply to you, assess and negotiate a possible partnership, and keep records of our business correspondence.
For visitors in the EU, EEA or UK, the legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) or our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We keep this information for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any business relationship that follows, and afterwards only for as long as the law requires us to keep business records.
Who we share data with
We share personal data only with service providers that help us run this website and our email, such as our hosting and email providers. They may process it only on our instructions. We may also disclose data where the law requires it or to protect our legal rights. We do not sell personal data or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
International transfers
MIKOJAI is based in the United States, and our providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where data from the EU, EEA or UK is transferred, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses used by our providers.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable format. To use any of these rights, email hello@mikojai.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising them.
If you are in the EU, EEA or UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Do Not Track
Because this website does not track visitors over time or across other websites, it does not need to respond differently to Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals. No tracking takes place either way.
Children
This website is intended for businesses and adults interested in working with MIKOJAI. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU). If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it. Content made for children, such as Monster Kitties, is published on separate channels that have their own privacy information.
Links to other websites
This website links to other sites, such as monsterkitties.com and YouTube. Their privacy practices are described in their own policies.
